On the positive side, Panama’s government has been working to streamline these processes to attract more investment in renewable energy.

 

Honduras

Honduras is focusing on expanding its renewable energy initiatives, with notable efforts in solar and hydropower. Solar energy is increasingly popular due to the country’s favorable climate, and hydropower has long been a significant contributor to its energy mix. However, challenges in permitting and infrastructure development can limit the pace of green energy adoption.

 

El Salvador

El Salvador has been making significant progress in harnessing renewable energy sources.
